Girl arrested in connection with creating fake social media account and post vulgar messages against the complainant

Vadodara cyber crime team arrest a girl from Ahmedabad in connection with creating facebook account of the complainant and post vulgar messages against her family to harass them.

A complaint was given by a lady in cyber crime about a unknown person creating a fake social media account, put her picture on the ID and post vulgar posts against her and family. The accused post such messages from 23 to 27th February 2021 and tarnish the image of the complainant and her family.

Based on the complaint the team began investigation and with the help of technical sources get the accused details from Ahmedabad. A team reached the house and found a girl as accused in the matter. However she was corona positive and the police team asked her to reach the cyber crime police station after the report comes negative.

The accused girl Nidhi Thakar studies till second year LLB. She present at the police station and accept the crime. The team arrest her and also seized the mobile used in the crime. Further investigation is on on the matter.
