    Immolate himself due to business tension

    A garments merchant in Vadodara immolate himself and committed suicide in the open ground near his house. Residing in Warasia area the merchant is having a readymade garments showroom in Alkapuri area of the city. Primary investigation reveals the merchant took the extreme step as his business was not doing well.

    Dilip Premchand Jeswani (58) lives in Mahadev society in Warasia area of the city along with his family and runs a readymade garments showroom in Alkapuri. Early morning on Monday around 4am he immolate himself after sprinkled inflammable material on his body near his house in the open ground.

    He started shouting and his family and locals rushed to the spot to help him. However before they douse the fire he died on the spot.

    Warasia police rushed to the spot after the message and send the body for postmortem after registering the case. Elder brother of the deceased Mulchand Jeswani said the business is not running well and he was in continuous tension. They feel he might have took the extreme step due to the business tension.
