Ganeshotsav theme on Corona warriors a centre of attraction in Vadodara

Ganeshotsav has started in Vadodara city amidst the chanting of Ganapati Bapa Morya Mangal Murti Morya amidst Corona pandemic.

Known for its various themes Ganesha, this year a eco friendly decoration of Corona Warriors in a house near the Champaner Gate is a tribute to those who risked their lives to save others from deadly Coronavirus.

Radhika Soni said, every year she set up Ganesha in her house with new themes and that too in eco friendly way. This time the whole world is suffering from Corona pandemic and the frontline warriors are working day a night to perform their duties putting their lives at risk. As a tribute she done the decoration on the theme of Corona Warriors.

Further she said, the mandap has been decorated and named as Corona Warriors. How police, sanitation staff, doctors and medical staff at the hospital as well as Media were on duty during the Corona lockdown is shown as part of the decoration at the Ganesh mandap.

The model of Mandvi and of Sayaji Hospital have been made and all these items are made from paper which is completely eco friendly. Apart from this, photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and those who served as Warriors have been presented in the two grounds.

It is worth mentioning that people who have been installing Ganesha at home for years, have made lavish decorations in their homes this year as well and celebrating Ganeshotsav with enthusiasm. The grand decorations in the houses have become the center of attraction in Pols and mark their presence in social media.
