In such dire circumstances, government run Sayaji Hospital became the savior of this family. After treatment there, Arvindbhai, Usha, Kamal and Pragya Pandya were sent home in about 6 to 8 days of treatment, without spending a single rupee.
Kamal Pandya in a very touching tone says that it was the first time in 41 years that he was admitted to a government hospital and the whole experience was very pleasant. Indeed, only the government can make such comprehensive arrangements. He have no words to praise the loyalty of the staff, from doctors to cleaners, performs various tests including oxygen four to five times a day during their stay in the hospital.
If a relative has to wear a diaper at home, everyone hesitates to change it, but these people change diapers without any hesitation. Morning and evening meals, milk, snacks, drinking water and necessary medicines, injections, all are given on time.
He said, his wife's treatment lasted 6 days and parents treatment continued for 8 days. Later they were sent to Samaras Hospital where the staff and facilities were just as good.
The ICU was ready in three to four days in front of their eyes in Samaras. They built a hospital up to 6 floors in QuickTime and this is not easy. The day-to-day conveniences were created in short time that are truly commendable.
When they went to admit in Sayaji in 108 ambulance, the staff was also very courteous and helpful. Her mother needed oxygen and given immediately after stopped the vehicle.
Expressing the feeling that doctors and staff work with dedication, Kamalbhai says that if the government does not provide adequate equipment, facilities, medicines, these people will not be able to take necessary care of patients.
Thus, at present the government and the staff of government hospitals are working to complement each other with good results. This whole system deserves a salute.
