    Complained the matter to GPCB to check the source

    A foul smell in some areas of Vadodara city makes the residents to suffer as they can’t resist and complained of headache and uneasiness. They later complained the matter to GPCB to check the source.

    Late night on Wednesday residents and people passing from areas like Gorwa, Nizampura, Chhani, Karelibaug and Harni Warasiya ring road complained of foul smell and cover their faces to save themselves. Some of them complained of headache and uneasiness due to the string odour.

    Later they gives the complaint to the GPCB to find the source. GPCB regional officer B.R. Trivedi said they received nearly 10 such telephonic complaints and informed the official at Chhani area to investigate the source of the odour. They will investigate the same on Thursday.

    It is to be mentioned that in 2016-17 similar strong smell spread in the area and GPCB still not find the source. This time also the smell spread in the areas and GPCB will try to find the source on Thursday.
