Former MSU professor gets Vishnu Sridhar Vakankar National Award

Professor V. H. Sonawane, former Professor of Field Archaeology, Department of Archaeology and Ancient History MSU Baroda, has been awarded Vishnu Sridhar Vakankar National Award for his contribution in various branches of Archaeolgy for the year 2016-17.

The award was announced today by the Commissioner of Archaeology, Archives and Museums, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The award includes a citation and 2 Lakhs rupees.
