About 1325 forest guards are also assisting the police force in maintaining law and order

Forest department gives strength to the state government to fight Coronavirus as they decide to donate in the CM relief fund. People associated with conservation and other departments from top to bottom will donate their one day salary in the relief fund.

The state forest department is equally supporting the government in its fight against COVID 19. Dr. Dhawal Gadhvi, Deputy Forest Conservator of Wildlife Department, Vadodara, informed that the backbone of the department like Forest Guards, Forest Pal, RFO, ACF, DCF from Gujarat Forest Service, DCF, CF, CCF, APCCF, PCCF including the Head of Forest Force from Gujarat Forest Cadre of Indian Forest Service and others will give their one day salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund.

Deputy Forest Conservator Dr. Dhawal Gadhvi said that after the lockdown declared in the whole state, police is taking every measure to inform people about staying inside their homes and keep safe distance to preventing corona. As many as 413 forest dwellers, 1325 forest workers are assisting the police system in various districts including Vadodara to maintain law and order situation in this difficult time.

Apart from this, people of villages in the forest areas of the state are informed to stay inside the house and aware the people at the exit points. Everyday they are providing water to the animals and also engaged in their daily routines.
