Thursday 9th November was the day full of information and vibrant energy during CHARUSAT-USA University Fair2017 organized at CHARUSAT Campus, Changa. The event was jointly organized by CHARUSAT Career Development & Placement Cell, Education USA and Indo-American Education Society, Ahmedabad.

The fair received anoverwhelming response from close to 1000 visitors attended, comprising students and foreign education aspirants for a chance to speak with the representatives of leading Universities of the USA.

CHARUSAT career development and placement cell provides comprehensive guidance and training to students of CHARUSAT for placements, higher education and entrepreneurship. The foreign university fair was a step in the direction of providing foreign education guidance to students.

The event began with a warm welcome of the representatives from the foreign universities by Dr B G Patel, Provost, CHARUSAT. Devang Joshi, Registrar introduced CHARUSAT University dignitaries to the foreign delegates.

The Fair began with formal lamp lighting ceremony at CHARUSAT central loan. More than 20 American universities exhibited at the fair. This included George Washington University, Troy University, University of South Florida, Marymount University, Bradley University as well as other top-ranking universities in the USA.

There was a good variety of management, engineering, medical, humanities programme offering private and state universities amongst the exhibitors. Students and other foreign education aspirants were pleased with the diversity of basic information from experts to be made available locally on the campus.

This fair is expected to be a catalyst event to continue encouraging more and more CHARUSAT students to study abroad and towards becoming competitive global citizens. Both the visitors as well as representatives from the USA Universities thanked the CHARUSAT University management for a hosting a successful day.
