Food safety teams conduct checking inside sweet and farsan shops in Vadodara

Five teams conduct checking and collected samples from the shops for laboratory testing

In view of the ongoing festive season the food safety officers of Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan (VMSS) conduct checking inside sweet and farsan shops in various areas of the city. The aim is to check the adulteration in the food items purchased by the customers from the shops. The team also took samples for laboratory testing during the check.

The team conduct checking in sweet and farsan shops in Sayajigunj, Alkapuri, Karelibaug and VIP road to check the quality of the food items and also the hygiene maintain by the shop owners.

According to the food inspector during the ongoing Navratri festival their five teams started checking inside the sweet and farsan shops to check the quality of the food deliver to the customers. The team also took samples from the shops for laboratory testing.

He further said the teams continue the checking in coming days including the food stalls.
