Food department conduct checking at various places in Vadodara and destroyed food items they found unhygienic and dangerous to health.
In two days drive the teams checked in areas like Jairatna building, Pratapnagar, Baggikhana, Nehrubhavan, Warasiya, Old RTO, Dhobi Talav, Motinagar Teen Rasta, Khodiyar Nagar and nearby areas as part of their drive to check the quality of food served to the people. The teams checked 89 larris and destroyed food items they found unhygienic for health.
The teams destroyed 360litres of Pani Puri water, 20kg ice, 162 kgs of unhygienic food items like Samosa, Bhajiya, fruit salad, vegetables, manchurian and others at the spot.
