The whole nation is commemorating the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by organising various programmes through out the year. The students of FJC also dedicate their annual newspaper ‘ITTIVRITT’ to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

The junior masters’ students at FJC researched and published their student newspaper ‘Ittivritt’, carrying articles focusing on different facets and personalities of Mahatma Gandhi. They went to the places from his birth place Porbandar to Vadodara and other places revealing the unheard incidents related to him.

To give a realistic touch to the launch event, the students presented the musical play ‘EK HATO MOHAN’ focusing upon the various major incidents in the life of Mahatma Gandhi. The play gathered applauds and appreciation from the audience which took them to the Gandhian era. Approximately 50 class nine students of Experimental school witnessed the programme.

The event was attended by the Chancellor Shubhanginiraje Gaekwad, Vice Chancellor Prof. Parimal Vyas and Prof. M.N. Parmar, director of higher payment along with other dignitaries. They later released the special edition of the students in-house print media lab journal ‘Itivritt’ themed on diverse dimensions related to the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
