    On the first day five peoples were penalised for not wearing masks at Narhari circle area in Vadodara. The teams collect total 5000 rupees (1000 each) from all as they are caught for the first time in violating the rules.

    From Monday the teams conduct checking after the order passed by the Municipal Commissioner making the masks compulsary from 13th April 2020. The teams during check penalised five people near Narahari circle for not wearing masks. The team collected 1000 from each as a penalty for first time violation.

    Vadodara Municipal Commissioner Nalin B. Upadhyay passed the order of making the masks compulsary to wear in public places. All persons when in a public place within the jurisdiction of Vadodara Municipal Corporation shall compulsorily wear masks or cover their mouth and nose with a handkerchief or other loose cloth tied properly around the mouth and nose.
