Firing in Vadodara over personal enimity
Two rounds were fired in personal enimity between two groups in Vadodara on Saturday afternoon where one person was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. However the police reached the spot and controlled the situation. They also arrested one Salman Golawala who fired the bullet.
On 12th April 2016 the notorious Salim Golawala's was slapped by the complainant Wasim Ismail and after 6 months its after effect were seen on Saturday. The son of Salim Golawala along with his associates attack the complainant with swords and pipes and also fired two rounds on him. After the attack on Wasim the pan shop of Salim Golawala's brother was attacked by his supporters.
Due to the daylight firing the whole area was in fear and police reached the spot and controlled the situation till it get out of their hands. According to the information around 11.45 am on Saturday Mohammad Wasim Gulam Dastagir Shaikh 24 was attacked by the accused Notorious Salim Golawala's son Salman, Siddique, Salim Golawala's brother Talib Golawala and other seven associates.
After the sudden attack Wasim shouted for help but one of the attacker fired on him with Tamancha. The bullets missed the target and hit the wall of a house behind.
After hearing two rounds firing in Ladwada area the SRP jawans from the nearby chowki rushed to the spot and get caught one of the accused. The injured Wasim was rushed to a private hospital for treatment.
On the other side the relatives and friends of Wasim attacked the Pan shop of Salim Golawala's brother Mohammad Husain Golawala and ransacked it.
After the incident top police officials Joint CP D.J. Patel, DCP crime Leena Patil, ACP Pinakin Parmar and other reached the spot and control the situation.
Police reached the spot and controlled the situation. "The complainant Wasim Ismail said that some 7 to 8 persons attacked him with swords and pipes. He also said that they also fired on and the police recovered two cartridges from the spot. The whole incident happened due to old enimity and we are investigating the whole matter. Prima facie it seemed as an old enimity between the two groups and we have arrested Salman Golawala (son of Salim Golawala) who fired the bullets. We are investigating all the angles and whoever is the culprit we don't spare them," said D.J. Patel Joint CP Vadodara.
