Fire in utensils shops at midnight in Vadodara

Around 12 fire engines were pressed after the Vadodara fire brigade received a call of fire inside utensils shop in Gotri area of Vadodara city. No casualties are reported in the incident but the loss is estimated in lakhs as the fire department declared it as major call.

As per the details somewhere around midnight the two shops situated near Gotri lake caught fire. The fire brigade reached the spot and started dousing the fire but due to its intensity they called it a major one and around 12 fire engines reached the spot to control the flames.

After nearly a three hours operation they finally managed to control the fire. However there was no casualties reported but the loss is estimated in lakhs as the utensils kept inside were all destroyed in the fire.
