Fire in GETCO transformer in Vadodara
No casualties reported electric supply to central Gujarat affected
A 400/220 KVA transformer at GETCO Asoj Amaliyara caught fire on Friday morning creates a lot of panic in the area. No casualties are reported in the incident but the reason is said to be the bushings exploded in ICT 1 unit resulting in 36000 litres oil caught fire.

Five Fire engines and 18 firemen rushed to the spot after the call and control the fire after a long operation. The same unit went on fire earlier in the month of February when the B Phase transformer caught fire.
The fire department not found any safety arrangements at the spot and also not any responsible person was available at the spot. The fire affected electric supply in central Gujarat.
