A fire broke out late at night in a scrap godown near Jambuva village near Vadodara city. Fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the fire with continuos flow of water. The incident caused panic in the surrounding residential area. No casualties reported in the incident.
As per available details, a huge fire broke out in the scrap godown near Jambuva Bridge in Vadodara city on Thursday night. Fire fighters reached the spot on time and managed to douse the fire with a water cannon. However, the godown was burnt down before the fire was brought under control.
According to fire brigade sources, a sudden fire broke out on Thursday night a scrap godown in front of the Jambua Bridge where metal waste was also there and was burnt to ashes. Upon learning of the incident, GIDC firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire with water after a half-hour struggle.
The primary cause of the fire is a short circuit. Fortunately no casualties were reported and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
