    No casualties reported as fire brigade control the fire in time

    A fire broke out early in the morning at a shop located at Sainath Complex near Tarsali Lake in Vadodara. GIDC fire brigade immediately rushed to the spot after the message and control the fire with continuos flow of water. The fire caused panic among the people living in the complex. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

    Giving information about the fire, Makarpura GIDC Fire Sub Officer Nikunj Azad said, Sainath Complex is located in front of Tarsali Lake and houses the offices of the agency supplying labour to the companies. People also lives in this complex. Early morning on Friday a sudden fire was reported inside one of the office.

    Their team rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported and douse the fire with continuous flow of water. No casualties were reported in the incident, however, the AC, located in the office was gutted in the fire.  Preliminary investigations have revealed that the fire was caused by a short circuit.

    According to the information received, the fire broke out in the agency’s office at 4 am and the residents rushed down to safety. The power supply to the complex was cut off cause panic in people as it was dark everywhere. People from the other complex also rushed to the spot to help the residents.

    Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot before the fire spread and control it with continuos flow of water. The incident create lots of panic in residents as they are sleeping at the time of the fire.

    It is to be mentioned that today the fire brigade conducted a mock drill at Vadodara central ST terminal about the precautions and other safety parameters taken in case of fire. The mock drill was organized under the guidance of Chief Fire Officer Parth Brahmbhatt and performed by Officer Om Jadeja and his team. The drill also create a sense of urgency in passengers.
