Corona transition likely to increase as crowds gather to take advantage of government schemes

On one hand the administration is talking about maintaining social distance, while on the other hand violation of same was witnessed just outside the office of Corporation.

Long lines are being formed at the office of Ward No. 8 in Nagarwada area of Vadodara city to get the forms for the self-help scheme. However the rules of social distancing is clearly violated at the spot. The guideines is not being observed in the office of the municipality itself and the rules are being violated, which can lead to transition of Coronavirus.

Lack of proper arrangement by the administration is believed to be leading towards violating the rules of Coronavirus. Long lines have been formed at the Vadodara city ward no-8 office since early morning where people are waiting for their number. However the gathering can lead to a dangerous situation during such challenging times.

One of the beneficiary Rameshbhai said, he drive a rickshaw and a larri to support his family. For the last four to five months the work hit hard due to lockdown and it is commendable that the government has announced a loan of Rs 10,000 for self-reliance for people like them, last three-four months as the elections are approaching. He had to stand in line from 6:00 AM to get this form and his number came at 1:00 PM in the afternoon.

No social distancing is maintained there and he feared of getting the infection. But it is also necessary to get the form because of his economic situation.

In the current situation where the deadly coronavirus epidemic is going on, the government is making all efforts as part of precaution to avoid the spread of virus. However such situation of violation in government offices raised question about the seriousness of situation. Ward Officer Maganbhai Vanzara was contacted by telephone in this regard, but avoided answering by not receiving the phone.

Even two days ago, people who had come to the administrative office of ward no-8 in the Nagarwada area of Vadodara city to take a loan, the same situation arises where they don’t maintain any social distancing. Then today, once again the Corona’s rules were violated by the people.
