Social activist demand investigation in the matter

The pits on Padra Vadodara Highway have proved to be a problem for the people using the road to visit their destinations.

In one such incident a family including a one-month-old baby got into trouble after their car was stuck in the pit for over half an hour. Later with the help of locals the car was pulled out to safety.

It has been only 10 months since the Padra-Vadodara main highway was renovated and with big pits the vehicle owners find it difficult to move on the road.

The family was passing in the same road and to their shock their car stuck in a ditch and all including their innocent one-month-old baby got into trouble for half an hour.

Some social activists raised the issue of corruption in the construction and also demanded a proper investigation into the matter.

Ashish Patel, a social worker and youth leader of Padra, alleged that a major corruption is there during the construction of the road and demand a proper investigation in the matter.
