Family seminar and interactive session with running staff and their families

A Family
seminar and interactive session with Running Staff and their families by Devendra
Kumar DRM Vadodara was organized in Vadodara yard. The seminar focused on the
importance of rest taken by running staff at home as well as in running rooms
for safe operation of trains.

Total 175
numbers of running staff and their family member participated in the seminar.
16 safety awards and 16 meritorious certificates were awarded to running staff
by DRM along with cash award given to eight 
staff members who kept their views on various safety issues.  Families of running staff were given away
consolation awards to encourage them for their participation.

During the seminar, DRM and other Officers addressed the Running staff and their family members on matters like, To emphasize the importance of the duty of Loco Pilots & Assistant Loco Pilots, Maintaining stress free, pleasant & good environment at their home and necessity of adequate rest to LP & ALPs at home for safe operation of trains before going on duty, Responsibilities of LP & ALPs while driving train and avoiding use of phones while on run, For keeping positive attitude/behaviour towards family members in awkward circumstances and Measures to reduce hypertension, diabetes etc and taking proper nutrient for good health.

Also discussions
were made on various problems projected by Running staff and their families.
Sr.DEE/TRO, Sr.DSO, Sr. DPO, Sr.DSTE, Sr.DEE/TRS, DOM, ADSO, ADEE (TRO) and
Running staff, Ladies Running Staff, Running staff families, Operating staff,
Safety counselors of all departments and Running Supervisors were present in
the seminar.
