Project extended for one more month after its success

Project Yoga Prahari was started by District Superintendent of Police Divya Mishra on 11/05/2020 to increase the immunity of the personnel of Kheda District Police Team and help them fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. At the beginning a yogic breathing exercise ‘Pranayama’ was a challenge to do for 10 minutes every day.

Keeping in view the gradual success of Project Yogprahari and understanding the seriousness of the transition of Corona, the project was launched for 100 days from 7/9/2020 to 15/12/2020. A total of 1324 officers and employees of Kheda District Police participated in this 100 day challenge very enthusiastically and a total of 56 officers and 587 employees showed great interest and 75% of days successfully. Out of which 150 officers / employees were successful in performing pranayama one hundred percent days.

Earlier in Project Yogaprahari-1 in the month of May, a total of 36 officers of Kheda District Police participated enthusiastically in the 21 day challenge and 4 officers showed great interest and completed this challenge 100% successfully. While 10 officers were successful in doing 75% pranayama in the days.

In second part the project was implemented for 30 days in June where a total of 520 police officers of Kheda police team participated and out of them 17 officers / employees completed this challenge 100% successfully. In addition to this, 64 other officers / employees were able to perform 75% Pranayama in the days.

Project Yoga Prahari-3 was started in the month of July for 21 days in which a total of 721 police officers / employees voluntarily joined and 125 officers / employees completed 100% successfully. Other 207 officers / employees were successful in doing 75% pranayama in the days.

The fourth part started from 01/08/2020 to 31/08/2020 for 31 days in which a total of 1276 police officers / employees voluntarily joined and a total of 666 managed to do 75 % pranayama. Out of which 280 officers / employees achieved 100% success.

Now Project Yogaprahari-6 has been launched for 30 days from 23/12/2020 to 21/01/2021 to keep fit in these difficult times keeping in view the gradual success of Project and understanding the seriousness of Corona transition.
