Vipul Gupta: I am saluting our country's heroes by playing role of Arjun in Sector Balakot

Hitesh Khristy's film sector Balakot, which focuses on the economy of terrorism and business of war, has been in news since many days. The film stars Ashmit Patel, Vipul Gupta, Punit Issar and Jinal Pandya playing lead roles in the film.

Ashmit Patel is playing the role of terrorist Kasim in this film. Vipul Gupta and Jinal Pandya are playing the role of investigation officer of National Investigation Agency. Both interrogates Kasim to get out information about terrorism and war mafia.

36 Years old Actor Vipul Gupta was born on 17th September 1985, Delhi, India where he grew up and studied. He did an MBA in Marketing from the University of Delhi. Vipul Gupta, the young actor has achieved a lot in his career life. He has acted in various movies since he made his Bollywood debut movie "Lakshya" which was released in the year 2004. The film was directed by Farhan Akhter.

Vipul has endorsed most of the brands and has been face of superhit Tv Commercials Mountain Dew' Daar Ke Agge Jeet hai' and was face and spearhead of the original superhit campaign. Other Superhit commercials include Tropicana, Siyarams Suitings, Airtel, Indian Oil, Liril, was Brand ambassdor for Onida to name a few. He did a Zee movie 'Fox' Along with Sunny Deol and Arjun Rampal as one of the leads. Then he was appeared in Sudhir Mishras Yeh Saali Zindagi with Irfan Khan and Chitrangda Singh.

Last year Vipul was part of Primary cast of Superhit movie Tanhaji. As in Ott people know him as one of the leads of Superhit web-series Special Ops created by Mr Neeraj Pandey. Infact he was one of the actors who ventured into OTT before it has become this big, through Vikram Bhatt directed ''Maaya" as its lead, the series came in 2017 and become a super-duper success. He was lead of another Bhatt successful series Zakhmi.

Talking about Vipul's role in Sector Balakot, he is playing a role of Arjun – An Investigation Officer of National Investigation Agency. I decided to play to role of Arjun in the Sector Balakot after I read the script and my main purpose to join the producer was content only. Arjun as an Investigation Officer considers work as his priority when his family needs him the most. For Arjun country comes first, and in the similar way our soldiers and defence force sacrifice their own social life for the country. Therefore, by playing the role of Arjun I am saluting those heroes of the country who are protecting our country. Arjun has all the characteristics what is required in the lead role. Also, I love playing action role.

Vipul Gupta added, 'Being a Punjabi I am a big foodie. Also, I have worked with Gujarati actors in past and they introduced me to Gujarati food which became my favourite time being. Also, some of my fans send food for me when I was in Vadodara for shooting. I love sev tamatar, Baingan bharta, Rotla, Khichdi and Jalebi Fafda. I also loved Baroda's famous Jagdish Chevda and Bhakharvadi.'
