Taylor Lautner from Twilight is engaged to his girlfriend Tay Dome

Taylor Lautner, the Twilight actor, has proposed to Tay Dome, his three-year girlfriend.

Taylor, 29, proposed to his girlfriend Tay Dome on Thursday, according to People Magazine.

On Saturday, the actor shared two photographs of himself and his fiancee on Instagram, adding in the caption, "11.11.2021. And just like that, all of my wishes came true."

Lautner and Dome are surrounded by rose petals and candles in the first photo included in Lautner's post, as he kneels on one knee in front of a fireplace while carrying a tiny box in his hands. Dome stands in front of him, her hands over her mouth.

Lautner proposed to Dome with a Ring Concierge custom-designed oval cut diamond.

Dome kneels beside him in the second photograph and takes Lautner's face in her hands. A neon sign reads out Lautner's surname behind them.

Dome shared the second photo on her own Instagram account, captioning it, "My absolute best friend. I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER  WITH YOU."

"Got news for you, the feeling is mutual," Lautner wrote in the comments to her post.

Lautner's sister, Makena Moore, couldn't contain her joy for the couple in a comment on Dome's post, "I'M FINALLY GETTING A SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and adding in a second comment, "My best friends are getting MARRIED!!!!!"

Lautner and Dome, a registered nurse, made their relationship public in 2018 when he uploaded a photo of the two in matching Halloween costumes. They've kept followers updated on their romance on social media since then, where they routinely share images together.
