Music streaming platform Spotify has revealed its annual Spotify Wrapped—a list of the most-streamed artists and songs, along with personalised numbers based on each user's listening behaviour through 2023.
Taylor Swift, with over 26.1 billion streams worldwide, made it to the top as the most-streamed musician this year, followed by Drake, Morgan Wallen, the Weeknd and Bad Bunny. In India, Arijit Singh claimed the top spot for the third consecutive year; he is also the 12th most-streamed artist globally.
Pritam claimed the second spot and Anirudh Ravichander, who has had a great year with his foray into Bollywood too, trumped AR Rahman to take the third spot.
King and Saurabh Lokhande's 'Maan Meri Jaan' was the most-streamed song on Spotify in India. Other top performing songs include Kahani Suno 2.0 (Kaifi Khalil), Kesariya ( Pritam, Arijit Singh, Amit Bhattacharya), Malang Sajna (Sachet Tandon, Parampara Tandon, Kumaar), Heeriye and Chaleya among others.
Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh has become the most-streamed album in India, followed by Ultimate Love Songs by Arijit Singh, Sidhu Moosewala's Moosetape and Shubh's Still Rollin.
Just like the title, Spotify Wrapped is that annual tradition where the platforms gives you a recap of what you listened to through the year—giving you an insight into your listening character.
