Sector Balakot – A film on Economy of Terrorism by Vadodara's NRI Filmmaker

Bollywood has produced many films on terrorism with war between terrorist and Indian army, rigorous firing, and combat. Hit films like Kargil, Border, Holiday and Uri have shown many forms of terrorism, but issues of the economy of this terrorism have not been highlighted in films.

Vadodara resident Gujarati NRI filmmaker and director Hitesh Khristy in his first film 'Sector Balakot' highlights the subject of economy of terrorism. The film is going to be released in December 2021 featuring well known bollywood actors like Vipul Gupta, Ashmit Patel, Jinal Pandya and Puneet Isar in the lead roles.

"Being a creative mind, I was interested in filmmaking, along with the business of reinsurance, insurance as well as human resources. Therefore, last year I started Q Cafe Movies Production House and decided to make a film on theme of patriotism. My main purpose behind making a film is to influence the society with a good message. It is more important to show the economy of terrorism rather than fight between terrorists and Indian Army. Sector Balakot film focuses on the economy of war and the business of terrorism." Said Hitesh.

Sector Balakot is a Pakistani terrorist interrogation film in which many facts came out during the interrogation of a terrorist. In this film, viewers will get to know where and how the roots of terrorism originate. The film was shot at Lakshmi Studio in Vadodara, Pavagadh and its adjoining forests, Devgarh Baria, Dang's forest as well as Dalhousie and Mumbai. The 1 hour 20-minute film Sector Balakot will be released in theatres in December 2021.

Hitesh is an alumnus of the Faculty of Social Work, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara. He is involved in the business of reinsurance, insurance as well as human resources. It is his first film as producer and is working upcoming films based on hard hitting subjects. His next film will be on 26/11 with a different message.
