The Savarkar film was also Hooda's directorial debut.

The movie also featured Ankita Lokhande in a pivotal role. Hooda got married to actor Lin Laishram in November 2023.

Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy, won director Christopher Nolan his first Oscars for best film and best director.

Murphy won the Oscar for best actor for the titular role and Robert Downey Jr. won the statue for best actor in a supporting role for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss.

Hooda  said, “They made pictures of their heroes like Oppenheimer, Truman and the world watches them. On the other hand, we are always trying to demean our heroes because of political vendetta.” He also said that in Hollywood films, aliens only visit their country as aliens can spot only America.
