On Malaika Arora's 48th birthday, Arjun Kapoor wishes her saying, "All I want is to make you smile."

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora may not discuss much about their relationship, but they always commemorate major occasions with meaningful tributes on social media. Arjun rushed to Instagram today, October 23, to share a lovely snapshot from their date night and a sweet letter for Malaika, who turned 48 today.

Arjun Kapoor's caption read, "On this day or any other all I want is to make you smile… May this year you smile the mostest…" To this, Malaika replied, "Clearly I am making you smile in this pic."

"I don't try and be overtly talkative about my personal life, since I believe you should respect your partner, and there is a past there," Arjun stated to Film Companion earlier this year. And I've been in situations when I've witnessed things unfold in public, and it's not always pleasant because children are involved."

He also said, "I try and keep a respectful boundary. I do what she's comfortable with. And my career should not hinge on my relationship. So you have to create boundaries. I talk about it today because there is a certain respect and regard given to the relationship. We have given it time. I have tried to give it a certain amount of dignity by giving it space, and not having it be in your face."
