In connection with a Rs 200 crore extortion case, the Enforcement Directorate has called actress Jacqueline Fernandez for questioning on December 8th.

The ED barred Jacqueline from leaving the country at Mumbai airport on Sunday (December 5), citing a Rs 200 crore extortion probe.

According to our sources, Jacqueline was on her way to Dubai when she was stopped at Mumbai airport on December 5. The ED has also issued a lookout notice for the actress from 'Bhoot Police.'

Sukesh Chandrasekhar, a conman, is accused of having a sexual relationship with the actress, and she is said to have gotten luxury presents costing crores from him. Among the gifts were a horse valued at INR 52 lakh and four Persian cats valued at INR 9 lakh each.

ED has summoned Jacqueline many times since August to question her about the case. In October, the ED questioned Bollywood starlet Nora Fatehi in connection with the same case.

When amorous photos of Jacqueline and Sukesh Chandrasekhar appeared on social media a few days ago, all eyes were on her. In one of the photos, the actress was seen kissing him on the cheek.

Sukesh and his actress wife Leena Maria Paul are allegedly linked to a Rs 200 crore money laundering case that the Enforcement Directorate is investigating.

He's also been accused of attempting to extort money from politicians and celebrities.

Sukesh reportedly told officials during questioning by the ED in October that he had presented gifts worth crores to a number of celebrities.

ED summoned Jacqueline Fernandez many times as part of the inquiry into the matter, where she denied dating Sukesh. Her spokesman also issued a statement on the subject, saying she is willing to work with the agency.
