Actor-Producer John Abraham bought a sprawling bungalow in Khar's Linking Road for a whopping Rs. 71 crore. Abraham recently worked in movies like Pathaan, Satyameva Jayate 2 and Ek Villain Returns. The property belonged to 81-year-old Pravin Nathalal Shah, a resident of Pennsylvania, USA, and his family.

The property includes a bungalow spanning 5,416 sq ft on a plot of land spanning 7,722 sq ft. As per registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com, the actor paid a stamp duty of Rs.4.24 crore on the transaction. The deal was finalised on December 27.

The 51-year-old actor married to banker Priya Runchal, currently lives in in a sea-facing penthouse at Hiten Apartments on Shirley Rajan Road in Bandra West.

The model-turned-actor is known to be a keen real estate investor. Linking Road on Khar in Mumbai is rated third on the most popular high street retail in India after Bengaluru’s MG Road.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who owns a couple of bungalows in Mumbai, gifted one of the bungalows, Prateeksha to his daughter Shweta Nanda. The gift deed was executed on November 8.
