Bunty aur Babli 2 trailer: The famous Bunty and Babli now in search of the duplicate Bunty and Babli
In the Bunty Aur Babli 2 trailer, Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan play veteran con artists, while Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh portray upstarts looking to steal the original pair's 'brand name.'
The teaser for Bunty Aur Babli 2 is out, and it looks as good as seeing Saif Ali Khan with a paunch and Rani Mukerji reprise her Babli role after 17 years. Although the two have given up deception, their imposters, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh, are already building a name for themselves in the criminal world because of their tech-savvy minds and skills to disguise.
Rani Mukerji is known as the "fashion queen of Fursatgunj," but Rakesh aka Bunty isn't pleased with her extravagant outfits. After losing his sparkle as a conman and taking a job as a train ticket collector, he has gained several pounds. However, when imposters use their 'brand' name to scam people, this idyllic small-town family loses their calm. They won't be able to do it because the original Babli and Bunty won't let them.
The trailer depicts all four of them in various disguises as they attempt to scam people in their own unique ways.
Saif, when asked about the film, stated,"Films on con jobs have historically had great disguises and that's half the fun. Nowadays we have prosthetics and makeup of a totally different level so people can expect really amazing get-ups and disguises from the cast and doing all that was a lot of fun."
Rani goes into greater detail regarding the plot of the film. She said, "Both sets of con-couples are extremely intelligent. They are the best when it comes to wearing disguises because they are the best at conning people with this skill. In this film, they come face to face with each other and it's a battle to watch out for!"
Siddhant stated"I have played so many avatars in just one film! When you do a film like Bunty Aur Babli, you promise people that they will get to see the lead actors in disguises to pull off elaborate cons and this film will over-deliver in this regard."
On November 19, Bunty Aur Babli 2 will be released worldwide. Varun V Sharma, who served as an assistant director on Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, directed Bunty Aur Babli 2.
