Atrangi Re: The first looks of Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush

Aanand L Rai is back with another entertaining film, Atrangi Re. Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan appear in the film, and the three have revealed their first looks from it. The film's trailer will be released on Wednesday, and the film will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Akshay Kumar revealed his first glimpse in a video and wrote,"An Atrangi story about the madness of love. Adding magic to this story, yours truly!" In the video, he appears as a magician, a Mughal emperor, and a musician.

Sara Ali Khan also posted a photo of herself with the same text. In three different photos, she is seen sipping a cold drink while clothed in a salwar-kameez and fixing her woollen cap.

In his first look video, Dhanush appears to be a carefree man dancing on the street and having a good time.

Filming for the film began in December of last year. Pictures from the shoot of the film in Agra were shared on the internet at the time. They showed off their characters, with Akshay dressed as a monarch and Sara dressed in a pink ethnic attire.

Talking about resuming the shooting of the film during the pandemic, Sara had told PTI, "I was shooting for the second schedule of Atrangi Re. I'm now sitting in a room where people are wearing masks, suits and gloves. It's a little strange. It was the same on set, with my director in a mask and gloves. It was different. But the passion and excitement with which everybody in the film fraternity comes to set with has not changed. The enthusiasm which binds us all is still there. So it really felt like I never left."

Himanshu Sharma wrote Atrangi Re, while AR Rahman composed the music. The film's tracks were written by Irshad Kamil.
