Ajith Kumar's 'Thunivu' to arrive on Netflix on this date

Tamil film Thunivu, starring Ajith Kumar, is set to arrive on streaming platform Netflix after its theatrical run. The heist thriller will start streaming on February 8.

Netflix on Friday took to Twitter to make the announcement: “It is time for the explosions to begin because Ajith Kumar is finally here! Thunivu is coming to Netflix on Feb 8th in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi and we cannot stay CHILLA CHILLA!”

Thunivu, which clashed with Vijay's Varisu for Pongal, opened to mixed reviews. At the box office, the film emerged a hit.

The thriller directed by H. Vinoth also marked Ajith's third collaboration. The film also featured Manju Warrier as the female lead.

Thunivu is produced by Boney Kapoor who also bankrolled the actor's Nerkonda Parvai and Valimai.

Thunivu also features Samuthirakani and John Kokken among others.

Speaking about working with Ajith for three films, Kapoor had said it was a great experience and that he was in awe of the actor's performance and persona.
