The songs are composed in such a way that it gives the message of voting to the people and also aware them about using their voting rights. “The lyrics are such that the youth from 18 se 21 years age group will get motivated. Iam associated with the Fine Arts garba for years and wrote traditional garbas there. But this is something special which is the people can enjoy. In one stanza a youngster says that they will vote and another one says that his or her neighbour asked him not to vote. Then another one said that the voting is their right and they will decide which type of government they want,” said Mankodi.

The CD will be played at the garba venues in between and the election commission also plans to make the people take nine pledges related to voting. It’s a unique concept of clubbing elections related awareness with the garba and the officials are hopeful that the idea will work.
