Nearly 526 police jawans will be on duty at Polytechnic college

The election commission is now making last minute preparations for the all important counting after the seven phase elections completed on Sunday. In Vadodara Polytechnic college is turning into a fortress as nearly 526 policemen are deputed for the counting process.

As per city police department the approaching road towards Polytechnic college will be closed for vehicular traffic till the counting process completes on 23rd May. Nearly 526 police jawans will be on duty on the day which includes 4 ACP, 2 Joint CP, 2 DCP, 18 PI, 49 PSI and 452 ASI, Head Constables, police constables and LRD's.

The jawans will be resume duty from 6 am and the road towards Polytechnic college will be closed for ang type of vehicular traffic from 7 in the morning. Civil dress on duty jawans will keep an eye on the activities and ensure the counting takes place smoothly.
