Will Consider Twin State Approach and Implement in 16 Primary Schools

The Prime Minister realizing the concept of Ek Bharat Sreshth Bharat in students with the noble cause for cultivating cultural unity among the various states of the country. The aim is to introducing diversity of languages and dialects, maintaining and strengthening of emotional bonds.

Ek Bharat Sreshth Bharat Yojana was announced on 31st of October, 2015 on Sardar’s birth anniversary and inspired by Prime Minister. Under this scheme the experiment of twin states has been implemented and Gujarat state has been twined with Chhattisgarh. As a result of this, an initiative has been launched in the schools of Gujarat from January 2020 to provide information about the culture, traditions, languages and dialects of Chhattisgarh to children through live learning.

As per the various activities suggested by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the State Government has instructed the Education Department to organize activities which will be performed in the district primary schools during the year. Under the Twin State approach launched in Vadodara district an initiative in 16 primary schools under Bhadarwa CRC of Savali taluka has been taken up to initiate and make students aware about Chhattisgarh’s identity through various integrated activities.

Under Ek Bharat Sreshth Bharat Yojana, the district panchayat education committee administers 8 talukas’ 1076 primary schools, where the districts also covers 476 secondary and higher secondary schools, including granted non-granted and self-finance.

As part of this activity, Principal Babubhai Chowdhury and CRC Coordinator Mukesh Sharma visited here giving special guidance on Chhattisgarh’s language, similar stories and translations into Gujarati, twin state news stories, Chhattisgarh dress, culture and heritage. Students also like this twin state identity experiment and Bhadarwa already proces to be a mentor to other primary schools in the CRC.

Important to note here that GCERT-Training Bhavan has prepared the literature in the language of the participating state Chhattisgarh and given it to the schools. 1st November will be celebrated as Chhattisgarh state’s establishment day. The students will be introduced to the Chhattisgarh state by speaking words, sentences of Chhattisgarh Hindi which is similar to the Devanagari script.

During the prayer time in the morning from Monday to Friday Chhattisgarh’s Identification, translation and dissemination of similar proverbs in the language. On Tuesday Chhattisgarh’s, polished language’s identification, to avoid the use of one-time plastic, save water and a vow on national unity, Wednesday discussion on news of twin state Chhattisgarh, on Thursday students will be informed about the state of Chhattisgarh by answering questions covering the history, geography, culture, environment, language, dress, cultural heritage. On Friday poetry and speech will be held about freedom fighters, social reformers, writers, poets and celebrities of the twin state.

A special event will be held on Saturday in the name of Joyful Saturday. On first Saturday of the month an essay contest, discussion, oratory competition based on topics related to the state of Chhattisgarh followed by group activity on the wall magazine-project work of Chhattisgarh on the second Saturday of the month. On third Saturday cultural competition, folklore, folk dance, art, drawing on Chhattisgarh State followed by games and activities on the fourth Saturday.
