New Update

The UP Board is working on two fronts to ensure that the High School and Intermediate examinations for 2025 are conducted without cheating and in a fair manner.

On one hand, the security of question papers in the strong rooms of examination centers will be enhanced using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

On the other hand, the number of unaided schools has been reduced, while the number of government and aided schools has been increased as examination centers.

UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has proposed 1,015 fewer unaided schools as exam centers for 2025 compared to 2024.

For the 2025 exams, the UP Board has proposed 7,657 examination centers and sent the list to the District Inspectors of Schools (DIoS). Of these, 940 are government schools and 3,512 are aided schools, which is an increase from last year.

In contrast, 3,205 unaided schools have been proposed as examination centers.

A total of 27,40,151 high school students and 26,98,446 intermediate students have registered for the 2025 board exams, totaling 54,38,597 students.

In comparison, 55,25,308 students registered for the 2024 exams, which were held at 8,265 centers, including 566 government schools, 3,479 aided schools, and 4,220 unaided schools.
