Driver killed after truck overturned near Por village

Driver crushed under the truck’s cabin, died on the spot

A truck overturned near Por on National Highway No. 48 killing the driver on the spot. The driver crushed under the cabin and died. Varnama police registered the case and further investigating in the case.

Iqbalbhai Ghulghoya, who lives in Shahi Kot area in Modasa taluka of Aravalli, runs a transport business and his nephew Mohammad Rafiq driving a truck. On October 20, Mohammad Rafiq and Arif Patel (resides in Kasba village, Modasa, Aravalli) left Mumbai for Jaipur in Rajasthan with their loaded truck. They were passing near Por village as Arif was driving the truck. Suddenly the driver’s side tyre burst and the truck collided with the road divider and then overturned on the empty side.

Mohammad Rafiq was crushed under the truck in the accident and died on the spot with serious injuries. Varnama police is further investigating in the case.
