    Dr. Sweni shah has been selected and awarded as a young woman achiever award in Health and Medical Sciences discipline for the year of 2020. The award was given in 5th Annual Women’s Meet – AWM 2020, hosted by the Centre for Advanced Research and Design (CARD) of Venus International Foundation (VIF) on 7th March 2020 at Chennai.

    The Venus International Women Awards (VIWA) scheme was instituted in the year 2016 for the disciplines of Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Health and Medical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management Science, Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

    The award ceremony was attended by more than 200 delegates representing 6 Countries like Singapore, Oman, Jordan, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Philippines and India. Award categories were Lifetime Achievement, Distinguished Woman, Outstanding Woman and Young Woman. This year, there were more than 250 nominations were from different disciplines.
