Doctors at Gotri Covid care hospital treat patients put behind their children and families

As the whole country is fighting against Coronavirus, doctors and paramedics are working day and night to treat patients with dedication. Away from their families for days, they ensure the patients get best available treatment and return to their families fit and healthy.

Dr. Gautam Shah working in the Pediatrics Department at Gotri hospital in Vadodara is a proud father of 25 days old baby. However the call of duty cut short the celebration as he returned to treat the Corona pediatric patients. Away from his family he worked with other doctors consists of Dr. Nimisha Pandya, Dr. Kamna Gandhi, Dr. Lalit Nainiwal, Dr. Ritesh Parmar, Dr. Putun Patel in treating positive children patients and curing them based on their medical knowledge and experience.

Dr. Gautam Shah becomes the father of a baby girl on April 8 as his first child and now serving at the hospital to treat the children. Remembering his new born baby he said, for the last 15 days he is away from his family and serving the patients at the hospital. Now whenever he visits his home the cute smile of her baby is there to welcome him.

For the safety of the family, they lives here in the facility inside the hospital. All the other doctors and paramedic staff are also performing their duties put behind their children and families. Whenever a patient get well and goes home the natural feeling of joy can be seen on their faces.

5 years old Drishti, 20 years old Khushi and 60 years old Savitaben Tadavi recovered from the treatment at the special Covid treatment facility at Gotri were discharged with a certificate of recovery. According to Dr. Abhinav, two of the patients are from Godhra and one is from Narmada district. Drishti is the third girl to be released from treatment facility here.
