District level Independence Day celebrations to be held at Railway Police Parade Ground

Narmada Development Minister Yogesh Patel will do the flag hoisting

The district level celebration of the 74th Independence Day of India has been organized on Saturday 15th August, 2020 at the Western Railway Police Parade Ground behind Kothi Kuber Bhavan in Vadodara city.

On this day at 9.00 am Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogesh Patel will do the flag hoisting at the ground. On this occasion the invited Corona Warriors invited will be honoured by him. For this honour, at the district level four health workers including the administrative nodal officer for the Covid facility at Sayaji Hospital, Dr. O.B.

Belim have been selected by the health department. While in the state level program at Gandhinagar, two health employees of the city and district will be honoured for their sincere services related to Covid 19.

At the conclusion of the program, the Minister and dignitaries will plant trees at the premises. Under the guidance of District Collector Shalini Agarwal, various departments have been assigned responsibilities related to this program.

The entire planning has been done within the limits of Corona related guidelines. The program will be attended by MP, Mayor, MLAs, District Panchayat Chairperson, office bearers, leaders, senior police and administrative officials and citizens.

All government and private institutions, educational institutes, mandals, who are organizing flag hoisting programs on Independence Day, have been requested to fix the time of their programs after 9 am, the schedule time of district level program.
