District Election Officer monitoring the polling at Karjan

District Election Officer and Collector Shalini Agarwal observed the ongoing polling for the Karjan Assembly seat. She visited polling stations including Ankhi and Kandari and review the process following by the staff.

She specifically checked the compliance of the Commission’s guideline for safe voting in Corona at polling stations. It is to be mentioned that special measures are implemented for safe voting.

From safety shields, masks, hand gloves, sanitisers, thermal guns and others are provided to the staff to follow the strict Covid 19 rules for the safety of themselves as well as voters.
