Complete vaccination work of pregnant women and children in next 15 days

District Collector Shalini Agarwal interacted with the Taluka Health Officers and Medical Superintendents of CHC in a video conference on Saturday and instructed to complete the necessary vaccinations of newborns, children and pregnant women in the next 15 days with care. She give guidance along with reviewing and discussing the situation regarding Covid 19 in the district.

It is decided to give one more dose of homeopathic ayurvedic medicine will be distributed to the high risk people including the elderly pregnant women in the month of June. During the meeting she also emphasized on planning ahead for the monsoon to ensure that adequate quantity of essential medicines is available in the hospitals.

She gave special instructions to take special care and monitor the health of persons with morbidity, especially elderly people, people suffering from serious diseases including diabetes, BP and pregnant ladies. She also guide to monitor their health and check their oxygen level through oxymeter and check the diabetes and BP level of the people.

She also said that intensive monitoring should be carried out against diseases like dengue and work including anti-larval operations in view of the upcoming monsoon. District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri and Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat also give guidance during the meeting.
