Inspected the work of health checking

On the suggestion of Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal, health check-up has been started for the prevention of Super Spreader in Padra. As part of it, she visited Padra APMC today, inspecting the operation of intensive health check-ups by traders, farmers and consumers, among others and give instructions to make it more effective.

Under the campaign, 42 people were screened on the first day. The district collector had earlier in May-June also instructed traders and farmers who came positive and recovered from the treatment to be covered in the health check-up.

The Chief District Health Officer said that the health check-up would be carried out for 10 days including various tests related to the Covid 19. From temperature to oxygen level are examined by the teams and medicines are given if needed. Along with Covid other diseases like diabetes, hypertension are also being tested.
