Detained by police before they are heading towards Gandhinagar on foot to represent their pleas to the CM

Displaced residents of Sanjaynagar raised aggressive protest against the administration after they were detained by the Vadodara police early morning on Friday. As part of their agitation they are heading towards Gandhinagar on foot to represent their pleas to the CM, but police stopped them before they start their journey.

Displaced residents of Sanjaynagar have been protesting for the last many days, demanding to provide houses and pay the remaining rent to them. They are representing many times with various programmes but the administration failed to resolve their issues.

As part of their agitation on Friday the residents are heading towards Gandhinagar on foot to represent their pleas to the CM Vijay Rupani. However before they start the police reached the place and detained many of the protestors which include women. The police team detained leaders Seema Rathod, Prabhu Solanki and others even before they start their journey towards Gandhinagar on foot.

Congress President Prashant Patel also rushed to the spot after the action by the police and put allegations on the administration for trying to hide the corruption in the scheme.
