Detained vehicles released by Vadodara police

Vadodara police detained around 6000 two wheelers in the city during the lockdown period from the people moves out from their house unnecessarily. After the order Warasia police station in the city started to handover the vehicles after collecting minimum fine from the owners.

From 22nd lockdown was implemented in the city and police appeal the people to strictly follow the orders and avoid moving out unnecessarily from their houses. However many of them violated the rules and police in the process detained the vehicles and handover the memos to the people. In process large number of vehicles were stocked outside the police stations.

During
lockdown RTO is also closed and in the process the owners put in delima to
release their vehicles. In view of the situation a notification is issued to
release the vehicles after collection the minimum fine from the owners. Warasia
police station started the process and released vehicles after collecting 500
from the people. Social distance is also maintained during handover of the
vehicles from the police station.
