Desi bomb blast in Vadodara
On Saturday morning around 9am a Dabba bomb blasted in the Fatehpura Adaniyapul area of Vadodara city resulting in tension among the local people and shopkeepers who were just start to open their shops.
Top police officials reached the spot with the bomb squad and controlled the situation before it get out from their hands. Earlier on Wednesday night tension prevail in the same area after two groups clashed there over a marriage procession passing from the area.
The incident happened during the morning when the locals and the shopkeepers are just start to open their shops. The local made bomb blasted early in the morning creating tension in the area which is trying to get back to normal after the clashes on Wednesday night.
The very sensitive Fatehpura road area where a flower seller woman sits daily near Adaniyapul in front of the police chowki. As per her daily routine she was sitting at her scheduled place and other shopkeepers are just about to start their day and opening their shutters. At that time a desi bomb blasted near the flower sellers creating tension in the area. However no one was injured in the incident but due to the blast the people were frightened and gathered on road.
As police successfully calm the situation after the clashes on Wednesday night but some antisocial elements want to create tension with this act. But the police act immediately and control the situation before it get out of their hands.
After the incident Zone 4 DCP Sajjansinh Parmar, Crime branch and city police officials rushed to the spot and access the details about the blast. "There was nails, pellets and other explosive products inside the tin to make itna bomb. No one was was injured in the incident and we put police bandobast in the area and start investigating," said Parmar.
A shopkeeper Kanu Thakkar said that he just went outside after opening his shop when suddenly the blast happened and he was frightened. The peace prevails in the area after the clashes on Wednesday but now once again the antisocial elements try to create the tension, added Thakkar.
