Derailment of a Wagon of Goods Train in Vadodara Division of WR

Restoration work in full swing to clear the track

Various trains are affected after one wagon of a goods train derailed between Samalaya and Pilol stations in Vadodara Division on Up Line at Friday morning 9.19 hrs. Express trains being run on Dn line while goods trains via Anand-Godhra. Restoration work in in full swing under supervision of Senior Officers to clear the track.

An Accident Relief Train (ART) has reached the site. Restoration work is being carried out under the supervision of senior railway officers. Refund counters have been opened at Vadodara and Godhra in case of requirement. Situation is being closely monitored by senior railway officers at site as well as in control room.

An accident special train has been departed from Mumbai Central station at 11.00 hrs for Vadodara Division.

-0267-2249612/42400 along with refund counters in case of requirement. All stalls at stations instructed to keep sufficient stock of food and water. Announcements being made in view of derailment of a wagon to the passengers at stations.

Restoration work of re- railing of a wagon of a goods train between Samalaya & Pilol stations in Vadodara Division is going on at war footing. Up Line is blocked due to this but Down line is working.
