Dedicated staff of railwaymen ensure the train movements at Vadodara division after the flood fury
Train movement started on UP and DOWN Lines at restricted speed of 20 kmph

As per railway PRO Khemraj Meena the railwaymen have not slept since four days in the Vadodara-Surat section and attending sites which were badly affected due to fury of rains in Surat-Vadodara section at various locations like Varnama-Makarpura, Itola-Varnama, Kim-Kosamba, Sayan-Kim. Water was earlier flowing dangerously above danger level with very heavy flow at railway bridges in Kim-Kosamba section causing disruption to train services in the Surat-Vadodara section.
In Varnama-Makarpura section the work was conducted for whole night to attend breaches site to unload rubble and quarry dust to attend and prevent rain cuts further so as to move trains in Surat-Vadodara section and the work was spanned over and period of two days ensuring safety of track and passengers with minimum disruption to train services.
Heavy rains lashed out in Ankleshwar-Panoli section causing tracks to submerge adjoining to DFCCIL area with heavy inflow of water from private areas and affecting train services in Surat-Vadodara section yesterday. But due to the selfless work by the railwaymen the trains are now moving at restricted speed to help the stranded passengers.
Meena added, Railwaymen piloting trains in adverse situations due to severe torrential trains in Kosamba causing flooding thereby maintaining high standars of selfless services, dedication, integrity but most importantly ensuring safety and ensuring safe trains running. In Ankleshwar-Panoli section railwaymen making drains to drain off excess flooded water to ensure safety of track and simultaneously preventing disruption to train services thereby ensuring safe train movement.
Facing bravely the atrocities of weather even in darkest hours in Kosamba the dedicated staff of railway staff of engineering department ensured training out of storm water caused due to flash floods in Surat-Vadodara section and ensured safety of passengers and safe trains running.
