Decrease in number of Covid patients in Sayaji and Gotri hospitals compared to the previous week

Officer on special duty reviewed the situation in both the hospitals

Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary, held a meeting with the concerned officials at Sayaji and Gotri Hospitals to review the situation regarding the treatment of Covid.

He informed currently 281 Covid positive patients are undergoing treatment at Sayaji Hospital and 274 at Gotri Hospital. Both the hospitals have seen a decrease in the number of patients in the current week as compared to previous week.

He further said that all issues of manpower, oxygen, equipments and medicines have been resolved. This week has seen a relatively slight decline in the number of suspected Covid patients seeking services of 108.
