Youth was on his way to celebrate Uttarayan with sister

The deadly kite string once again fatally killed the only son of Rabari family in Vadodara. The youth was on its way to his sister’s house to celebrate Uttarayan but the fate has some other ideas. The string slashed his throat and killed him before he gets any treatment.

As per available details, 19-year-old Deepak Waljibhai Rabari, a resident of Bhilapur near the city, rode his bike to celebrate Uttarayan at his sister’s house who lives in Parej village at Sojitri near Vadodara. He was crossing the Nandesari over bridge when the deadly kite string stuck in his throat and he was hit on the road.

Following the accident, the youth was hit by a bike on the road.  The kite’s string was so sharp that it slashed the neck and he was soaked in blood. The locals rushed to him and call 108 ambulance for immediate treatment. However he breathed his last before being treated at the hospital.  Following the incident, Nandesari police reached the spot and further investigation is on in the matter.
